About this Case Study
This session will show case studies of how we have used the programming language R to work in a more agile way. Whilst not being a tool directly associated with agile, there are elements of it that lend themselves completely to working in a more agile way.
Some case studies we will go through include:
- how we've used R to quickly develop and test product prototypes, without requiring dev resource until much later in the process
- how R has been used to experiment with completely new ideas in a hackathon, and what this has led to
- how we've removed a heavy reliance on MS Office for reporting (at the same time, we found ourselves making reports faster, reports that were less prone to human error, and - most importantly - they look nicer)
The session is aimed at analysts, product leads, tech leads, or anyone who could benefit from working with data faster.
Participants will leave with examples of where using this programming language can help them work in a more agile and fast-paced way when it comes to data and insight. For those completely new to this language, we will provide information on how to get started.
