About this Tutorial
When development teams adopt agile, the testers are often left out in the cold. Changes to working practices and a move towards continuous integration and automation can open a significant skills gap that can be very difficult to bridge.
This session will focus on how testers can properly embed into an agile team for the benefit of the whole business.
We'll discuss how the testing mindset can help to drive clearly understood, well scoped and verifiable requirements. We'll cover the importance of embedding test practices into continuous integration and how to shift from a traditional 'test phase' mindset into an approach that fits better into the idea of iterative development. Finally we'll share techniques for bridging the skills gap and helping testers take ownership of automated testing frameworks.
This session is ideal for development teams new to agile, testers moving from manual to automated approaches and product owners keen to make the most of every skill in their team.
