About this Case Study
Selling agile into a delivery team that had been working within an ineffective and frustrating waterfall environment was relatively easy. Getting buy-in from the wider business was more challenging, and actively engaging people was a tough mountain to climb.
At times, this transition was exasperating - but seeing and experiencing the impact of the benefits made it worthwhile. Across the business, teams were actively taking part in prioritisation, engaging stakeholders, providing feedback - and silos started to break down. The process was an education for everyone involved and by no means a one-way transfer of knowledge.
This session will share the journey of agile adoption within a reactive organisation with a diverse global stakeholder base, which was being hampered by traditional development practices. It will explore how challenges were tackled and what was learnt along the way.
Participants will benefit from shared expertise based on hands-on experience and take away tips for engaging an entire organisation.
