About this Discussion

Ever wondered how to get away from using story points to predict the future? It’s a tough sell; I’ve spent hours in meeting rooms with teams making up points to figure out if they could meet the sprint goal, only to end up in shame and disappointment when the sprint ended with ‘un-done points’ - the whole team losing the will to live as we did it all again.

I’m Andy Hiles, a professional scrum trainer with Scrum.org, and over the last year I have been helping teams shift their mindset from scrum to scrum with kanban...oh yeah, and I also tackled the portfolio level at the same time. Join me for a Q&A and walk-through of how you can take your teams further with scrum, with some really simple tips for getting started forecasting without story points.

As you can well imagine, that keeps him pretty busy one way or another.
