About this Case Study

Are you sick of seeing your team treated as a sausage machine for turning user stories into code? Can they only talk about how long something will take, or how it will be built?

This session explores how to ask questions about stories based on customer value. We’ll examine building backlogs around customer journeys, and tools to create a culture of continuous discovery and experimentation.

You’ll take home practices that will help your team start talking about customer value first.

About the Speaker

Adrian Howard is passionate about building effective teams and great products. You'll find him working with companies of all sizes - combining team coaching and teaching with hands on UX and development work. Adrian is at his best solving problems where agile, product and UX overlap.

With more than 25 years' experience working with established businesses, agencies and start-ups, he’s an active member of the agile, balanced team and lean UX communities. Adrian regularly teaches and speaks on integrating agile, lean, product and UX methods.

You'll often find him ranting in a corner of the bar about how agile, business and user experience folk need to play nice together. Be kind and buy him whisky.
