About this Case Study

After moving into my new and exciting role as a product owner at Booking.com, I realised I was getting trapped in a cycle of procrastination. I was so ashamed of it I truly wanted to hide under a rock...but people would have noticed I was missing.

After some considerable time consuming Ted talks and other less informative YouTube videos, I concluded I wasn’t alone. This case study will look at why evolution has allowed us to develop this annoying habit of procrastination, and hopefully make you realise it is a really useful tool helping us to be the problem solvers we are today.

Come along and learn how my newly found insight into procrastination has shaped how I actually deliver product.

About the Speaker

I have made the successful move from working in a contact centre to product development.

I currently oversee a product that ensures users have a great customer journey if they choose to take our insurance product - which can be hard work, because it turns out insurance is highly regulated.

I enjoy spending my free time with my family. The newest member is a lovely pony called Sandy: feel free to ask for pictures - I have a lot available! :)
