About the session
In this talk I will share my initiatives to encourage early QA involvement and a holistic QA approach in a project – these helped me to improve quality, minimise test duplication and avoid bugs rather than fixing them.
After joining or starting a new project, it is a long and tricky path to building a QA process from scratch. Building a quality assurance environment can be achieved by collaboration with all the parties in the team.
After talking to product owners, development members, and project leaders, lots of initiatives can be started to improve products and processes like feature housekeeping, maintaining testability, reducing flakiness and test breakage.
Overcoming challenges is not easy. As a tester, sometimes you have to act like a quality coach, be dedicated and encourage people to partner with you in the initiatives.
- Several initiatives to support quality assurance activities
- Ways to review requirements
