About the session
Theme: Mindful Mindset | Dealing with change
We all bring strengths to our work, and often those same strengths become stumbling blocks when overused or out of balance.
This interactive workshop will use the CS Strengths Deck to explore how our natural talents show up in real settings: both as enablers and as friction points.
The CS Strengths Deck is a practical, coaching-inspired tool designed to make strengths visible, tangible, and easy to talk about. It helps people go beyond labels or personality tests by focusing on how qualities actually show up in real work.
We’ll look at how our strengths play out in everyday teamwork - in conversations, decisions, and moments of pressure. You’ll see how the same talent that drives progress one day can cause tension the next, and learn how to spot when a strength is tipping into overdrive.
Participant takeaways:
- A simple way to spot where your strengths help and where they can tip into overuse
- New awareness of how your qualities shape teamwork, communication and decision-making
- Practical ideas to bring more balance into team rituals like retros, stand-ups and feedback conversations
- One small, personal action to try back at work
- Fresh insights from peers on how they navigate their own strengths and stumbles
