About the session

Theme: Agile craft | Team practices

Tired of retrospectives that feel repetitive or surface-level? In this session, you won’t be told how to run better retrospectives - you’ll experience one.

Take part in a live cross-team retrospective on the conference itself, exploring it from the perspective of participants, organisers and speakers.

This format has been used successfully with client teams to surface insights across silos and turn them into shared action.

You’ll experience the 4Cs Map (connections, concepts, concrete practice and conclusions) behind the design, and how ‘Training from the BACK of the Room’ keeps energy high.

You’ll leave with a reusable template to run your own cross-team retrospectives that unlock safety, inclusion and collective intelligence.

Participant takeaways:
  • Apply the Training from the BACK of the Room 4Cs Map to design engaging retrospectives and other group sessions
  • Identify practical facilitation techniques (movement, pair-shares, short activities) that increase energy and participation
  • A reusable 4Cs template to run cross-team retrospectives within your own organisation
This session:
  • Includes interaction
  • Has a cap of 20 participants
