About the session

Note: this session runs for 120 minutes + 30 minutes for afternoon break.

Interviewing is like high-speed skiing on a steep snowy peak – it requires constant attention, constant course correction, and constant self-awareness. Our mind tries to cope with this stress by taking mental shortcuts, and unfortunately doing that smudges our interview with our prejudices and biases. Learn to better prepare for customer interviews and to direct your conversation without leading your participants, so that you can arrive at true actionable insights.

Participant takeaways:

  • Learn how to lead or co-participate in interviews.
  • Recognize their internal biases and learn techniques to control these as they arise, or to compensate for the effect during the analysis phase.
  • Develop an awareness of their conversation style and catch their drifts between different styles.
